I really don't know what to say...
it seems that no one care about the normal farming in iRosePH since I have posted some topics already
and ... to this topic
if we have to reduce the number of mobs to make server less lag
why not just adjust the drop rate higher becasue the mobs r much less than before

There are 1,550+ mobs on that map, that is already a huge number, one of the largest mob populated zones on the server. The old spawns were bugged, causing monsters to continue to spawn nearly ten times as much as they were intended to. This was fixed because that zone alone was using roughly about 1/6th of the total number of mobs, npcs, ect that can exist on the server as a whole at any given time. Fixing this was the logical decision, obviously. Adjustments may have to be made concerning farming, or whatever, but the immediate priority is to fix what was causing mass stress on the server, was it not?

To be honest, 95% of the drops in Sikuku Ruins are trash. Sikuku Ruins WAS a very great map to farm Red Hearts, Hime and CR. But it feels like all the spots where you could earn a pretty good amount of money are being removed.
About the mobs number, I have never experienced a lag caused by a very high number of mobs in 1 map.

Not just the refines other ppl also kills boss to farm gems. In my part i havent got any problem about lags on that Map
Edit: the good part of having a lot of mobs is making your farming time much faster and i dont like their decision of decreasing the spawned mobs, but i havent seen the map yet since they the last patch.

All that I ever hear about is how to make everything easier. We create features that nobody else has, that are not supposed to be possible in rose online, and most players focus souly on bug fixes that they do not like because it makes them play the game more. What sort of update should we release? A gigantic banana monster that walks around Junon dropping free farming materials 24/7? Many of these players would be better suited playing farmville.

Thanks for all the hard time and efforts to make this game more unique and more exciting Rose Online server that no one has.

this is truly false
it seems that I care about the farming just because I need it?
but actually I seldom farm , the point of mine is just making the economy more healthy
and try to make iRosePH to attract more non-donator to play though I donated a lot (I guess at least 1.5k US$+)~
Moogle 06 Jan 2014
I said no names, I simply said most players. I do not form an opinion based on the contents of one single thread, but rather the total player response from all patches as a whole. As for the economy, a truly healthy one is heavily reliant on supply and demand. Most players complain up a storm if they are forced to farm for any length of time, because they want everything fast. When items are made available fast, more are obtained and exist on the server than intended. The supply exceeds the demand, causing the economy to fail. Also, there have been many discussions of how to repair the balance between donation and normal items, but as usual, every tiny adjustment causes massive amounts of complaints, leading to the adjustment being reverted.

First there were too many drops, I agree about that. They removed that to try to make the economy more healthy. But now they are removing ALL drops so there is still no chance to get a healthy economy. I really appreciate your work but I don't understand why you always keep removing drops. I mean, look at this; Enthiric was 500k each a few years ago. And now? only 40-50k each. Lisent RA was around 950k each. Now it is barely 50k and I recently saw them for 25k each.
I think that the Donation Points caused this. If you could donate but not sell your DP for money to buy gems, people would be farming to complete their gem sets.

I agree to flashfire, few years ago, when the time the enthric cost 500k each, the economy was very healthy, I know others know that, but when the time passed by, the economy become poorer, I think those players who is greedy in Zulie is the reason,

Would be nice if DP can't be sold. Because donators should still farm for their gemset then, and actually that's the fun of ROSE online.
Gresh 07 Jan 2014
I would have no idea hahah, but, I know that isn't possible anymore xD. Only saying that we would have a healthy economy without DP's
Truebuffszz 07 Jan 2014
Hahaah, I only get zulie by selling dps, I'm lazy to farm haha.
Moogle 07 Jan 2014
Well, I cannot comment on the drops supposedly being changed, or donators selling dp to gain zulie, or whatever everyone's on about. I am not involved in these areas of development. I was simply told that the spawns were bugged, which I already knew about, so I fixed them. I also improved the underground prison spawns, which actually increased the number of monsters, but nobody is talking about that. I can say; however, that nothing will ever improve unless players become willing to actually give adjustments a chance. Even just a week of trial after every change, instead of whining the second that you read the changelog, having never even logged in to try it yet. Though, I've been here enough years to know that will never happen. The mere fact that any tiny change to the gameplay scares the living hell out of 90% of players prevents most of the fun ideas that we come up with. I swear, you guys make this project so boring.
