Great replies, Moogle ^_^

But yeah, even if the map wasn't lagging you, the mobs were taking up too much capacity and server processing time.

So now, let s get it straight. On one hand you created a new job : Shaman, wich is purely aoe based and on the other hand you drastically reduced the number of mobs in Ruins. You claimed that it s balanced because you added mobs in Prison, knowing that it drops absolutly nothing usefull (trash etcs and lvl 155 equipments while it s a map lvl 200). What s the use of it? Im not whining because I want everything to be easier... I just can´t agree with the fact that you make farming extremly slower than what it was before. You aren´t making things harder, you are just making it longer for non cash spammers to get money. Time sink doesn´t mean harder content, especially since you guys seem to be unable to get your drop tables straight, logic, and rewarding. Where are lvl 120 uniques? while a big number of bosses ingame are absolutly dropping nothing,
how come lvl 255 equipments are way less powerfull than lvl 131 cash sets... is your ultimate goal to force everyone to completly rely on real money in order to have a competitve lvl 255 chars? It really looks like it... especially since you are killing ingame farming.

The level 131 IM items are something we are looking to adjust this year. Item Mall items will get a level requirement between 130 and 255 and the stats will be adjusted accordingly.

Ruins mobs were simply bugged, but we can make certain monsters spawn more again if it's too hard to farm now.

If you have ideas for boss drops you can always suggest some.


@saturnin's french post: Vault should be accurate from October files. Not much has changed regarding drops since then.

I give up on trying to explain things <_< Someone just said that the prison spawns were increased becaue we "knew that the drops there were useless". They were increased unintentionally while reducing the number of spawn positions, thus ever so slightly increasing the total number of monsters due to the fact that it is impossible to preform such an operation to an exact 'T'. The purpose of the operation itself was to make the map readable on the website, having nothing to do with said theory.

Too many people are so convinsed of their own absurd theories to listen to factual information, so whatever, they can think what they want.

I dont care how much mobs ect or which items are dropping, but please that drop rate... , it just doesnt have any sense to keep farming like getting everytime only 1 material from an mob. Even an bourg doesnt make this better.

I guess Moogle was pretty clear about why those things have been adjusted, not because of the sake of farming but only to make the server more stable, I guess that is what every one wants to decrease the lag from the server for a better gameplay. Farming can always be adjusted in many ways and if complaints or suggestions came in I'm pretty sure things shall be overlooked and discussions will be made to adjust the problem. Our developers spend loads of time and are really dedicated to make iRosePH a better place for everyone. Perhaps a better approach with more information about the problem would be more usefull to Moogle then just say, we got trash drops and farming doesn't benefit anyone anymore...etc, suggestions are welcome.


And who knows, perhaps one day we will see big yellow banana jumping around in junon @Moogle :lol:
