As we said before, PVP Tournament Solo will not have buffs, you have to provide your own buffs.
We checked a couple of times the winners and it came to our attention that the following jobs clerics, scouts, hunters, fencers mostly won, after that the jobs like mages, raiders, bourg and knight.

Regarding the Icicles, every one can farm them, putting some extra effort to gain more benefit is your own choice, if you do not want it then it's your own decision.
Adjustments regarding icicles in the last patches:
- Calculation has been fixed, the previous one was bugged.
- Cooldown has been added to the Icicles.

Last subject, no we can't have a double elemination in one round, the system we use does not allow it.

That's the main reason the Ghost Potion is there, to hide and then kill. I agree there has to be a cooldown on GP when using it on tournament, but disabling it is not necessary. There are potions and skills that can detect invisible players. Even before that GP is allowed on tournament, I used to be in 8v8 tournament and that GP is already and always been used, you just have to counter it, they can only stay hidden if they not hit you, or not be detected by any means. Just focus on your strategy and don't panic when your opponent uses GP. GP cannot kill you, or even damages you, regarding to scout's that's just slowing, and then hit and run, well that's a scout was supposed to be played. While on cleric buffs, well that's cleric what do you expect? They have all the buffs and debuffs what do you expect? Its the players strategy that makes them the winner, keep that in mind guys.

weird logic , cleric can use GP to hide , too

then it will just become hiding war

and if any job can hide , what's the advantage of a raider/bourg/gunslinger??

They should disable all self buffs etc. And disable every hide skill. Otherwise you just cannot play and win fair.
If a staff member would play the 1v1 tournament, he would be shocked how sad this system works. No offense, but this doesn't work out well this way.

glad to see a full-unbuffed environment

then u will totally know that , the reason why clerics are strong in tournament is not their "20% buff" xD

True, the thing which makes them strong is the dr up, and the sleep and hr down skill.

there r lots of diff between unbuffed pvp and full-buffed pvp

1.Magic Skill

the dmg of magic skill is much stronger than normal skill in unbuffed environment (in full-buffed environment , the result is opposite)

also , magic skills got better HR than normal skill, for example , u only need 1050hr to hit 2k dr when using magic skills , but u need at least 1200hr to hit 2kdR when using normal skills

2.without self buff self hr buff (hunter/scout/raider will lose 300+hr in tour) , it will be more difficult to hit DR than now

3.debuffs are still as good as before

We all know that you cant win if you just hide, you need to outdamage or kill your opponent in order to win, Yes the GP was clearly abused by some of the players that's why I agree that it should have a cooldown, like 1 GP per round, but disabling it is unnecessary. Regarding the buffs your talking it was clearly stated in the rules that players should provide their own buffs, well there are buffs scrolls if you want to buff yourself also, that's the challenge of a 1v1 tour, if the self buffs will be out of this tour then what whould be the challenge that a player should overcome? all job have self buffs and we should wisely use them. Im just wondering why players always complain about the pvp or tournament rules, its already been made, we should play with it. Its easy if you dont want the rules on solo tour, then dont play it, no one requires you to join it.

peace :P

u didn't answer the question "if any job can hide , what's the advantage of a raider/bourg/gunslinger??" lol

GP was not allowed before 2 week ago, developers only admit that icicles r allowed

in your weird logic , the pvp tournament winner should be the one who use GPs/buff scrolls/icicles best

really lol on it

Thing is, buffs give dr and hr both 700+. You don't need 700 hr to hit 700 dr. You cannot hit people in 1v1 which you can easily hit in TG.

Its better if consumable items like icicles,GP, and visibility potions are all disabled because its a PVP tournament , thats why a player should use only his/her skills on specified job against his/her enemies.

Like this one, but up to now some players are still using GP in PVP tournament.

As we said before, Ghost Potion is allowed untill it has been blocked again, which will be with a patch.
Icicles and the potion of visability will stay enabled.
