Does 300 magic resistance/magic defense wing increases the chance of not being stun ? And can it also increase the chance of me stunning others ?

It does work if you combine it with more mdef or dr.

I think you wear full set and accessories with Magic Defense because the pure stunner who fail to stun you more for sure.

the stun equation is the Skill Stun %* ( (Your Int) + level*2 ) / (Target's M-def*0.6 + Target's Dr) , I neglect some constants here
so we can define a anti-stun factor A = 0.6*M-def+Dr
higher A u achieve , u r harder to be stunned
so actually DR char is harder to be stun than a full M-Def char
so we can define a anti-stun factor A = 0.6*M-def+Dr
higher A u achieve , u r harder to be stunned
so actually DR char is harder to be stun than a full M-Def char

Have I understand this right. Let say you consider to buy either one of Aqua forcefield or Flame forcefield but you dont know which one is the best. Let's do the math!
Aqua forcefield => 300 magic defence / 10 int => 300 * 0.6 + 0 = 180 (A= 180)
Flame forcefield => 100 dodge rate / 10 dex => 0 * 0.6 + 100 = 100 (A = 100)
I ignored the int and dex of both wings for an easier calculation and for the fact that it wouldnt make a major difference. SO basically, an aqua forcefield would be a better choice for antistun right?

well , u need to consider ur base status after buffing for more accuracy (if u really want to know how many stun % it helping to decrease)
for example .
u have 1700 M-def and 2400 Dr on ur fencer after buffing and without equipping back part
ur A will be 1700*0.6 + 2400 = 3420
if u choose the 300M-def wing(we will ignore gem7 and 10int here)
ur A will be 3600 , which means that this item gives u 5% anti-stun
if u choose the 100Dr one
ur A will be 3520 , which means that this item gives u 2.77% anti-stun
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
so for anti-stun , 300M-def(A=180) is still better than 100Dr(A=100)
but don't forget that Dr can help u avoid attack!
and btw the highest Anti-stun job in game is full dr cleric(A=4000 around)
comparing to no dex char such as no dex dealer/soldier(A=2000~2300) , dr cleric is almost two times better than them for anti-stun
