Yes, to utilize the buffs of cleric, you must have IM Set for it. Higher int = powerful buffs.

of course. You need to gear up your cleric to have full buffs, as what Hendrickson said. You're cleric will be useful everywhere. Buy the cleric items for accessories and use topaz as your gem. If you want to save some DP, you can wait for IM sale.

Tips: there are 3 non donate items for cleric that is equivalent with IM.
Mask - int30
Back Armor - int50
Rose Weapon - int40
Mask - int30
Back Armor - int50
Rose Weapon - int40
