Patch 01/09/2014 Dungeon Cave of Ulverick

Are you brave enough to enter the Cave of Ulverick and defeat the deadliest spider known to exist in planet Junon?
Gather up your allies, take down Ulverick and his minions, and avenge the deaths of the citizens of Nejeuve Village from the evil that was unleashed by the Devil Pest.
Patch notes!
- Cave of Ulverick dungeon is now available for testing in level 250-255. During this test phase we want to make sure the system works properly and the monsters can be balanced. After one or two weeks we will make the system fully available with reward points, reward stores, and sidequests.
This dungeon consist of three parts, each with its own boss. After killing a boss, the gate will open and you can enter the next area. After killing the Ulverick boss you have completed the dungeon. You start with 15 minutes of gametime, and after killing the Anansi Recluse or Arachne Recluse bosses you gain 15 minutes of extra time.
To start the dungeon you must create a group with 3-5 players and join in the Game Arena window. Up to 5 instances can run at once, so if all five are in use you may have to wait until one opens up.
Please give any feedback about the Cave of Ulverick or the dungeon system in general. You can post on the forums or message me in private.
- Added a Staging Area map where players are teleported to before entering the dungeon. In this map you have 5 minutes to buff your team. After these 5 minutes you will be teleported into the dungeon. If you are already buffed up, you can walk into the warp area to begin the dungeon.
- Added an NPC in the Staging Area which sells potions and allows you to repair, upgrade, appraise and disassemble items.
- Added a Luna Training Grounds where players can fight without a damage cap. This area can be used to see what changes should be made to jobs to make a global damage cap removal possible. It's not certain that we will ever make the transition to no-cap, but these tests should give us more info about it.
You can teleport to the map with the Eucar Portal.
The pvp mode of this map is not like the normal CvC (Clan vs Clan) based maps, this map is FFA (Free For All). It means that your soulmate, clan and allies will be your enemy. Clan and Soulmate teleport has been disabled.
- Removed the minimum vending price of gems. We did not see any reason to keep this anymore, the supply of gems has been lower since we removed the Gem[7]s from the Item Mall.
- Fixed the Gunslinger "Dual Power Shot" skill, it now has 10 levels and a better stun rate.
- Fixed the Dragon AI in Draconis Peaks - for real this time!
- Limited the walking range of Moss Golem, he will return to his spawn area if he isn't fighting anymore.
- Fixed the bug where Fire skills would give your enemy the Supersonic buff.
- Fixed a bug where a player could stay invisible after doing a skill combo with Stealth.
- Added three new Gunslinger-themed loading screens
- Updated the Junon Polis billboards with Gunslinger images
- Adjusted the zoom limit
- Added an Energy bar on the Game Arena, this will be used for the dungeons once the testing phase is over.
- Fixed the names and icons of several Item Mall items
- Fixed the Episode Quest at the part where the zombie spawns in El Verloon Desert
- Increased the HP of the crystals in Empire Battleground
- Fixed the bugged HP bars when you join in a Group in the Game Arena.
- Shops that you have already viewed recently will display the shop title in white instead of yellow.
- Improved the casting speed of the Shaman "Teleport" skill.
- Adjusted the Shaman AOEs
* The skill has a cooldown if you cancel the AOE
* It will damage less frequently if it's further away from your character.
- Fixed a bug in the engine with glows, some items and monsters had areas where glow did not work.
- Adjusted the town fairy buffs, they expire after 1 hour again.
- Added a bag which rewards one out of 9 colored mini-dragon mounts. This is a prize for the Draconis Peaks game.
- Adjusted several shields in the Item Mall, they all give Defense and Dodge rate now.
- Adjusted item types of back items and wings.

Please don't try the dungeon with two or more shamans anymore
Sure your time might be good, but we already know the shamans should be nerfed in dungeon. It would help us more if you tested it with other jobs.
Your time means nothing now, just give feedback first so we can release the points and rewards soon.

I might be wrong, but there's no more Wasteland scroll for sell at Scarlet shop in Oro? Or is it moved to another shop?

Wasteland scroll was removed in the previous update already because that map will become Oro Clanfield in the near future. You will have to enter it by NPC.

There will be several sidequests inside the dungeon to earn extra points, so it will be challenging to complete the quests and clear the mobs. If you have an idea for an other "twist" or a sidequest, send!
So far 3 teams finished it in 40-43 minutes and one in 30 minutes (exo). I think it's pretty exciting if you only have 2 minutes left to kill it?

1.well the dungeon is nc! good experience to fight the mobs with players
2.I tried the no dmg cap map , actually it still got dmg cap(around 1/2 of ur total hp)
in my opinion , it is not good since high dmg chars can kill anything in 3 skills

or do u think a knight lost 5~6k hp in instant by a raider using shadow assault on him is reasonable?
unless they will make better pot, because even the 2047 cap exist now , some weak-def chars r still killed by normal hits

Yes, that is the purpose of this map. Without a damage cap the maximum HP of your character should be a lot higher. A lot of things must be adjusted to balance the jobs again. With this map we can try those kinds of adjustments in one area. Maybe we will be able to balance it - maybe not. We'll see.

we tried some runs in dungeon.. i guess it was fine now. or will damage become higher i wish we can get something even we just tested it haha
